Children participate in educational field trips to STEM-based learning centers, museums, and community institutions that promote hands-on learning and exploration.

Fall, Winter, & Spring Break Camps : Five (5) days each

These camps provide continued engagement through structured enrichment activities, age-appropriate learning experiences, and STEM-focused educational field trips. Programming supports learning continuity while allowing opportunities for recreation and peer interaction.

All field trips are conducted with written parental permission, appropriate supervision, and transportation practices consistent with DECAL safety standards.

Program Fees

Project LEAP operates as an affordable, community-based childcare and enrichment program.

Program fees support instructional programming, supervision, enrichment activities, and operational costs. Participation in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) ensures that eligible children receive nutritious meals and snacks at no additional cost, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, in accordance with USDA and DECAL non-discrimination requirements. Fees are assessed separately from meal services and do not affect a child’s eligibility to receive meals provided through CACFP or SFSP.

We welcome families participating in the CAPS (Childcare and Parent Services) program and accept approved CAPS funding.
